A friend of mine is asking for a little bit of help in finding a good home for her puppy, Meeka. If you or someone you know is looking to add a furry family member please contact Nina and see if Meeka is a fit.
Thank you,
BeachMama

Four month old female Chorkie.
In need of a good and appropriate home.
Meeka is a very smart, very affectionate and loyal puppy. She is a quick learner but does have some special needs. She is a very timid puppy and although she is extremely outgoing and loving with people she knows, she is timid with strangers. She is happy to walk and play and do her business outside but does best in parks and quiet places. She is frightened by loud traffic. She loves her toys and shows a lot of intelligence and potential. She needs to be with people and doesn’t like being alone. She needs a family that will be able to provide her with the right training and confidence building. My circumstances have changed and I am unable to meet her needs. If you know anyone or yourself who would love and nurture this lovely little girl, please contact myself or the Westboro Animal Hospital as soon as possible.

I thought I should post a huge Thank You, to those of you who made purchases from my Etsy shop or had me take photos of you. As well as a little Thank You to my Dad and to Opa. All the hard work throughout the months of July and August mean that a week from right now, we will be in California, baby.
We only told J yesterday, so we only have to hear him talk about our trip for the next week.
It was all worth it and I thank you all very, very much. I will be sure to share photos of our adventures and the wonderful people that we will meet. I am so excited, I may not sleep a wink until we get there.
And do stayed tuned. I am organizing a day of mini-portrait sessions for October. With the hope that we will have some great fall colours to capture along with those beautiful smiles.

Thanks to five family birthdays in the last 30 days, I feel like a big piece of cake. Thankfully, I did not put any weight back on, but I do feel like I have lost most of my muscle tone I was working towards.
This past week we, as a family, have been walking. A lot. Since J is back at school, I am back to my twice daily walks to school and back. However, he goes in a closer door so it doesn’t seem like as much of a walk as the last two years.
We were also going for nightly walks while Opa was here, and kept it up the last two nights. Although tonight was much longer than we anticipated so we may have two grumpy kids tomorrow. Today, I was able to go for an extended walk after dropping J off too.
I haven’t been getting much in, strength training wise, but hope to change that tomorrow with a new routine that I have found. A couple of different exercises to shake things up. Hubby has been keeping up and doing well with his workouts, which is why I also feel like a piece of cake, since he is getting all buff and I am melting down.
Oh the motivation.
