I am currently working on my photographic portfolio (website coming soon) and am looking for some pregnant women and new babies, preferably one to two weeks old, to photograph.  If any of you are interested or know of someone who would be interested please either leave me a comment or use my contact form to get in touch with me.

I am offering  four sessions in total for Pregnant Moms and four sessions in total for babies.  Each session (1-2 hours of your time depending on cooperation of babies) is free of charge, either in my home or yours.  In the Ottawa area.  Anyone accepting should be willing to sign a model release that allows me to use your photographs on my website.  All photographs will be available to you in jpg format on a cd a week or two after our session.

Thank You

Bloggy Movie Night Anyone?

Andrea over at the Fishbowl has some tickets to give away for Thursday’s screening of “One Week” starring Joshua Jackson.  If you are at all interested, and live in Ottawa, head on over and let her know.  I will be attending this Thursday, so if we haven’t met in real life this would be a fun way to finally get to meet out in the real world.

Be aware though, it may be a tearjerker so I will be bringing tissues.

And a Beavertail He Had

President Obama had a wonderful visit to our city or so they tell us.

I, myself, got caught up in traffic on the way to lunch with some friends. Originally we were going to go to the Market, but changed plans due to road closures. I was able to see President Obama’s car drive by on a bridge ahead of me, it was a thrill.

I got home and the Live press conference was on tv. I tried to listen but the phone kept ringing.

The most exciting part today was that President Obama made an impromptu visit to the Market, for yes, a Beavertail!  He also stopped in a bakery and shook a few hands.  All was a flurry on the Market as he was not expected to stop there at all.  He will be the talk of the town for a long time to come.

Thank you President Obama and I hope you and Prime Minister Harper had as great visit today as the reports are all saying.
