And despite all the rain, the snow isn’t melting fast enough for , it melted faster in January when we had two days of rain. I am starting to feel a little house crazy. I could set J free outside to play, but he will just get soaking wet and only stay out for five minutes. We can’t go for a walk as the roads are a slushy, icy mix and are still only about a car and a half wide, so it is pretty dangerous. Usually by this time of year I am back on track with daily walks and fresh air. This photo is the view from my chair in the family room, but oddly enough it is reversed.
Another oddity to report is that thanks to my terrible cold and such it kick started some weight loss for me. I was not trying at all but it seems either I wasn’t snacking as much or my metabolism finally kicked in again. The first week I lost five pounds!! YAY for me. I had been stuck at the same number for a few months and no matter what I did it just wouldn’t budge. And this week (since Saturday) I am already down another four. I will admit that this week I have been really trying hard to watch what I eat, at what time and keep the weight loss going. I would love nothing more than to be able to wear all my shorts, skorts and sundresses in a couple of months. I actually had on a pair of my pre-pregnancy jeans today. I didn’t take a photo as I still have a little muffin top going and with another five pounds gone, so should the muffin top be done. When I can put them on without the muff I will take a photo. I was just so excited to wear a different pair of jeans that weren’t falling off my butt or too tight to breathe.
I am hoping to start back on my running tonight. If only I was as talented as Hubby who after a five month break went for a ten kilometer run last night. He took so long that I was getting worried that he wiped out on the pathway and couldn’t get back up again. And as usual he did not bring a phone. But, he took a long time because the pathways were so icy that he was doing a run slide. But, once he got started he didn’t want to turn back home. I am a wimp and will be running on the treadmill while listening to some ’90s Dance Mix.
And that my friends is my not so eventful Wednesday.

Yay for the weightloss, once you start losign and the clothes start fitting, it is very motivating.
Good luck with the running, I have a feeling you will be outrunning your hubby’s butt in no time. How could you not with the ’90s Dance Mix?
😉
Hey! Just saw your comment on Anna’s site.
YIPEEEEE! May!
Starbucks and crafts. I do the Starbucks and leave the crafts for crafy McCrafterson Anna 🙂
I hope that y’all have a little freedom soon. Cabin fever is no fun. Congrats on the weight loss! That’s always nice.
YAY for the rain! I hope it keeps coming and the snow keeps melting. 🙂
Way to go on the weight loss!! I am loving the 90’s dance mix too. It helps me keep a good pace!
This mix of almost spring (happy first day of spring by the way) and still winter crap has me down. I think it is also cause Easter is so early this year and I distinctly remember gardening last year on Good Friday. UGH.
Way to go on the weight loss. Are you still doing the no sugar thing?
Way to go on the weight loss. I have got to get back to counting calories. I am on week 5 of the couch to 5k. I think you are doing this also. However, I am not feeling my best so I skipped this morning. I am going to try and restart at week 5 come Monday…
Good luck getting started back.
Way to go on fitting into pre-pregnancy jeans!
I like those homes, I was just house hunting and they look similar. Hmm I went to the gym today and felt good. I just do the cross trainer!
You can be my inspiration; no matter what I do lately, the number keeps climbing. It’s disheartening…so your tale has picked me up!
Keep de-muffifying, girl!
