Workout Wednesday – The Power of Ten

As I went through my closet this morning looking for something to wear for the annual family portrait tonight. I realized that if I had only lost that last ten pounds that I want and need to lose, my options would have been so much more.

I have ten skirts that are one size too small (as in I can do them up, but cannot breathe).

I have ten pairs of pants that are one size two small (same as the skirts).

I have, at minimum, ten blouses that are one size two small (well my bosom was busting out).

I have ten summer dresses that are one size too small (just making note for next year).

So, here I sit trying to think of how to lose the last ten.

I run every other day now and am pretty much doing 4-5k each time.

I don’t eat excess sugar, sweets, soda, alcohol.  Most of what I eat is healthy and in moderation.  Oh yes, and I gave up extra salt this past summer.

I have ten more reasons why I should lose the last ten, but they are silly and mean only something to me.  But, the most important thing is that I want to do it for me.

There are ten weeks, plus one, until Christmas.  A pound a week.  I am determined to have the choice of at least ten different outfits for Christmas Dinner.  I can do it, I just need to get through Thanksgiving first.

Best of luck with the last ten pounds Anna! I think it’s harder and harder to get rid of the last five or ten after you’ve had children. My goal is five to ten pounds, but it never happens. I eat pretty healthy, although I definitely like my sweets (and probably eat too many of them!!).

You can do it! I think you should start mixing up your cardio a bit more, less running and more of some other stuff. Check out this great workout you can do on your treadmill:

    Or this one:

There’s another on she posted about called Telephone cardio but I can’t find it. It’s a good one too, I can type it out if you are interested 🙂

    Heya Anna Girl….
I was looking for a way to wish you a happy b’day….it is coming up. I know I am early. But that is how I roll. In order to be ontime, I am early with certain things. So, consider this your Birthday Wish. I love you, have a Great Birthday!

So onto the stuff I love…fitness…. Look at what you are eating. If you are running that much, you may be holding onto the fat, because you might not be eating enough or eating the right things!! Also, I would tell you to add 30 min. or Resistance workout…use those super pretty 10lb’ers you took a picture of. In time, it will make the difference.

I am so impressed with how God has blessed you with so many talents! You truly have a photographers eye. Your awesome!!
    Luv ya,
    Lori
