Since I realized last week that the CIBC Run for the Cure was only a week away I have been training hard. It is not that I am totally out of shape, but I hadn’t been running regularly so I wanted to be sure I could actually finish the run. I have run every other day since last Sunday. Putting in 3-5km depending on who I am with or how I am feeling. I feel strong, I feel ready. I feel like I want to keep this up, it has been giving me strength. Now, please God, keep the rain at bay until after the run.

Yeah, the rain is awful. Two (or three?) years ago it poured rain when I ran. I froze, it was really cold and I’m a big wimp! I’m crossing my fingers for no rain too. And good for you for running so much the past little while . . . I’m afraid I have been wimping out due to the weather!
I knew you would be fine but putting in the training really settles your mind, doesn’t it? That picture is so neat, it invokes such passion in me and also inspires me both to run and to work on my camera skills.
Oh I know, I love running in the cold. I HATE running in cold rain. I hope this rain passes soon. The dark this morning is depressing me!
I really want to get back into running. I’ve gotten lazy in my not so old, old age.
stunning picture. And from your mouth to God’s ears – a clear day Sunday!
wow – it’s pink run time again!
that went so fast.
a funny thing – there are posters up all around town advertising this year’s BC walk. they have a photo of last year’s walk – and woozie and i are right in the middle of the pink crowd!!!
much love. run well X
Anna, that photo is just perfect — love it! Good for you for training, and I’ll be crossing my fingers and toes for a lovely morning on Sunday for you guys…
