Will he ever tire?

Of being my photo prop?  I dread the day.

I also need to start a photo blog, I think.

I was trying out a couple of backdrops today.  I tried a black one and a tan one. Two were sheets and one was a curtain panel.  I think I like the panel best, but it isn’t as long as the sheet. So, I need to try out a few more shots to decide for sure.

Then again maybe I should just get the paper backdrops.  I am just not sure if I want to use lighting.  I mean, I have it, but I much prefer natural light.  But, there are people who want plain backdrops in their photos, so I wanted to try some out.

These are SOOC (straight out of the camera) shots just playing around with J.  Love that kid, just love him to death.

J seems like one of those sweethearts that everyone would love to death. 🙂 The backdrops look pretty good, other than needing a good ironing!

back drops are fun but natural lighting is always more dramatic, isn’t it? We always do background shots of the kids when we do their annual shots, that’s what my photographer friend prefers 🙂

I love the one with the black backdrop… he looks so cute! Especially with the wii controller in hand!

    Those shots look great.
Back when I dabbled in maternity photos I always used Ikea curtains for backdrops.
I have a curtain rod attached to a wall in my spare room (EXCELLENT natural light in there)and I hang the curtain there.
The Ikea curtains seem to be a lot longer than curtains I’ve purchased anywhere else so they’re really versatile. Plus I can put them right back up on my windows when I’m finished 😉

I like the black. Is that one a curtain? I love Nicole’s idea re: Ikea curtains. I wonder if might be cheaper just to go to the fabric store and rig up something with a bunch of polyester (wrinkle free!) black fabric… ?

Oh, the one with the Wii-mote in his hand — way too cute! I wonder if I could steal this idea to keep my boys sitting still? *grin* I do like that backdrop the best!

I don’t know what I’d do if my children refused to be my little models!

I like the black on too but I am a sucker for Contrast and the more the merrier.
I wish I could have looked at you’re camera on the weekend, but I could not even use my own. LOL. Another day.
