Apple has finally made it to the table. We used the clip on chair for J and he loved it so, here we go again. I was getting tired of her yelling at me every time I sat down to eat. And even though Hubby saw it as his duty to hold her, I don’t exactly enjoy watching my daughter catch all the crumbs on her head. She is loving it! Even after three meals and some painting today, she is happy as a clam sitting with us at the table. Of course she thinks that food will be coming her way, but she still has to wait at least another month.
I was trying an impromptu photo session with the kids and although J was mostly cooperating, Apple wasn’t entirely into it. I did get a few great shots, but also a lot of J watching TV over my shoulder or Apple yelling again. These two are my favourites. You can just see the love coming from J. He was talking about our trip to Montreal last November and when describing the weekend he said, “Remember, when I didn’t like Apple?” I said, “No, I didn’t know you didn’t like Apple.” To which he replied, “But, I Love her now, so it’s Ok.” I guess it’s Ok, but in all fairness she was trouble in the car, so he is forgiven for not exactly Loving her to pieces every day. The most important thing is that he Loves her so much now. As you can tell in the next photo too. Not exactly Apple’s best shot, but my favourite of J.

They are so cute 🙂
And woo-hoo on joining the crowd at the table! Now pass me some of that food, mommy!!
Happy weekend,
Heidi
love that close-up photo of them grinning at each other, love the way big kids communicate with little ones so naturally X
She looks oh, way TOO big to be the little baby she is (supposed to be). Wow!!!
What a big girl!! She doesn’t look that big, really, but if she has moved up to the big table – good for her! She is adorable and those pictures are precious.
Have a great weekend – nice to see you today. See you soon. Kellan
I love the middle shot of them! how sweet!
No secrets about babyfat, although I did find nursing longer did help with keeping the weight off. G was BF until about 19 months.
Awww those are cute pics!
We tried Ethan at the table with us the other night too, though it was not such a great experience. He is a swiper so by the middle of the meal he was back in his high chair. Funny how each kid is so different!
The paintings in the background look fun:)
Soooooooooooo cute!!!
Just popping by again to say that I have a little something for you on my blog 🙂
Hope your weekend was a good one!
