Getting Ready

For Winter.

As if last year still wasn’t fresh in our minds, a Winter storm is apparently heading our way tomorrow.

Do we have the snow tires on the truck?  No.

Is the lawn furniture put away? No.

Do I have snowsuits and boots for the kids?  Yes, thank goodness I went last week as we only found out about the possible snow fall at suppertime.

Here we go, gearing up for another white winter.  The only good news is the forecast for Friday is a wopping 15 degrees above zero, so whatever snow we get should be gone in time for Halloween.

Ick, I suppose that will be coming our way too and likely just in time for Halloween…I have the snow gear at the ready since we already had snow.

Hope it melts for you in time for Trick or Treating.

I was about to ask how 15 above zero would lead to melted snow, but then I remembered that y’all use celsius scale. That would be warm enough to get you there. Bundle up and stay safe!

We had a bit of snow in Peterborough last week. It led to some people muttering under their breath. A lot.

I’m with you on this one: we had enough snow last year to give us “snow credits” for at least a few winters. I think we should get a break this year. (But I don’t think we’re going to get one.)
