Four (and a half) Month Update

I, myself, cannot believe it has been four months since Apple has been born. Thus leaving me to realize I haven’t really posted a baby update in a while. Since we have gotten over the whole horrible car rides, life has become so much easier.

I hesitate to even write this for fear that everything will change, but here it goes. Apple is a dream. I kept fearing the worse because to me J was a dream baby and everybody kept saying that if your first was great your next one would be a terror. Well so far so good, she is even more dreamy than J was. She wakes up laughing, she smiles all day long and is easily entertained in one of her baby stations (the mat, the swing, the saucer type chair and the playpen). So, unlike J, I can put her down to play and get a few things done. I had a hard time putting J down. That might have been entirely my fault as I did not know if I would ever get a chance again to have a baby, but this time, I can put her down.

Apple even did her first full roll over to the belly on Friday night. We had been assisting her for a few days, but once she did it once, that was it. She keeps rolling and rolling. And on top of the rolling she is trying to crawl to get to things. So far she just looks like an inch worm, but she certainly gets across the floor pretty quick. J is now finding out that his little tiny pieces of Lego have to be kept up off the floor (thank you!!) and played with on the table or in his room (thank you again!! now I don’t have to feel the sharp pain of a Lego piece getting stuck in my foot).

Although Hubby might feel differently I have to say Baby number two sure didn’t cure my desire to have kids. She is so awesome that I would do it again in a heartbeat (after I finish getting rid of the baby weight 😉 ).

Aw, she is so sweet! And rolling already, watch out she’s gonna be a mover and a shaker. My second one is still way more active than my first.

And I TOTALLY agree with your last post and so does my husband 🙁

She looks lovely…just like a gloriously healthy Apple 🙂
I’m glad to hear she’s such a good baby, and that you are enjoying her so!

She’s gorgeous! You give me hope that my second won’t be a terror. Except for the drama of her premature arrival, M has been a very laid back and happy baby and toddler. Like you, I’m terrified the next one will be the complete opposite. Thanks for the reassurance that lightning can strike twice.

You are both lovely! I am in awe as I read of such a baby. I certainly never had such a one. I’d have had four, if they were like your Apple!
