I thought I should post a huge Thank You, to those of you who made purchases from my Etsy shop or had me take photos of you. As well as a little Thank You to my Dad and to Opa. All the hard work throughout the months of July and August mean that a week from right now, we will be in California, baby.
We only told J yesterday, so we only have to hear him talk about our trip for the next week.
It was all worth it and I thank you all very, very much. I will be sure to share photos of our adventures and the wonderful people that we will meet. I am so excited, I may not sleep a wink until we get there.
And do stayed tuned. I am organizing a day of mini-portrait sessions for October. With the hope that we will have some great fall colours to capture along with those beautiful smiles.
I have been busy. Working with my Dad has been super fun. That and I picked up my younger cousins in Watertown on Sunday and brought them home for the week as a surprise to J. We are keeping busy, that’s for sure.
We made Dad pose for a picture. And yes, I still have my painting bibs from 20 years ago.
We all worked for him at some point in our younger days, but never all together. My eldest Sister is missing, but surely not ‘missing’ the work. It’s dirty, messy and hard, but we are having fun as are the clients!
It has only been a year since you left us, but what a year it has been.
You have been missed more and more with each passing day.
We know now, that you endured our family with more Grace than one person should ever have to show.
You were the rock, you were the middle, you were Switzerland.
And for all that you did for us, again, I just want to say Thank You.
