and it hardly feels like two. However, it really was ten years ago that Hubby and I got married. By this time we were just finishing up supper, Prime Rib, and starting our rounds of dancing and talking to everyone. I barely remember the night, but it was fun and we got married, that is all that matters.
Two years ago I posted these photos, so I thought I would pull them out again because, well they are the only ones on my computer.
The first one is the favorite of all our wedding shots. We were married at a golf course, not ten minutes away from our house now. It was a hot day, almost 30C (86F) and windy.

And here we are on our Honeymoon in Cancun. And the worst part about this photo? I am trying to hide my ‘fat’ body behind Hubby’s arm. Isn’t that hilarious? Considering I am a at least 15lbs lighter and far more physically fit in this photo than I am now. Hubby is a little heavier now too, but he is one of those guys were you don’t really notice, makes me mad sometimes.
Just look at that blue ocean, man I miss Mexico. But, after all this flu stuff, I don’t see myself going there anytime soon.

Happy Anniversary Hubby, it’s been a great ten years. Here’s to the next ten and may we have our young bodies back by then ;).

Two years and one month ago (ironically) I took a photo of J and posted this post about what inspires me. Here is the photo I took of J.

Last week I remembered this photo and wanted to get one of Apple in her towel as she was playing around. The result is this photo.

I find it quite ironic that just over two years later I got another awesome photo of one of my kids with their towel. They both love cuddling up in them and blue is one of my favorite colours, thankfully they look good in blue.
To go with the theme of the post I have to come out and say that my kids, both of them, inspire me daily.
This week has been a long, trying week for me. I have been tested as a Mom, Daughter, Sister and Friend. I know I passed in some areas and failed in others but, the most important thing is that I have not lost sight of the fact that I have two amazing children that inspire me. My Husband is great, supportive and loving. And that I know in my heart that I am a good person.
With these two smiling faces how could I not be inspired?
Today started off like any other normal Monday. Got the kids ready, J complaining the whole time, and headed off to school.
When I arrived back home my Mom had called to say that my Sister had missed her flight home from India. It hadn’t occurred to my Mom that when my Sister had called her Sunday night she had already missed it since they are so many hours ahead of us. Thus, the scrambe began. Somehow my Sister was confused about what day it was and just plain old missed the flight. After much confusion and panic she was able to rebook on the same flight the next night. Phew!
I picked up J at school and headed to my Mom’s only to see more panic again as my Dad’s heart had gone out of rhythm again and he was headed over to the hospital and Mom was still getting my Sister’s four kids ready from the morning disaster. Ack!
We (my other Sister arrived for backup) packed Mom off to the hospital and set about feeding eight children lunch and keeping them from destroying Grandma’s house. Once naptime was done we split them up and brought them back to our respective houses for sleep overs because Mom and Dad would both need some quiet time for the night.
Is Monday over yet?? Just wondering because I have an eight year old, six year old and a five and a half year old that need to stop laughing and get to sleep.
