A glimpse into our colourful Saturday. We had a great day, walking around Kingsmere. My only regret is that we didn’t pack a real picnic and only had snacks. Next time, it will be sandwiches and hot chocolate.
If you like colour and don’t mind a little chill in the air, Fall in the Capital is a beautiful time of year for a visit.

Oh I remember the beauty of Gatineau! Thanks for sharing your pictures. I tell Jay all the time that if we are ever there, we HAVE to go to Gatineau.
Happy Fall!
And your little pumpkin is adorable!
Wah, you’re making me miss fall in Ottawa! Looks like it’s beautiful there right now. And wow, does J ever look like his dad! 🙂
I love the picture peeking around the bricks! The pumpkin hat is adorable! I loved it when I saw it on Anna’s (borderline bonkers) blog too.
Oh, what BEAUTIFUL photos!!! I LOVE Gatineau! Growing up in the province of Quebec, Gatineau wasn’t all that far and my parents used to take us camping in Gatineau every summer! I remember going in the fall a few times too. Gorgeous!
You have such a beautiful family! LOVE the adorable orange tuques you knit for the kids! That’s talent, sista!
I love MacKenzie King’s Estate. It is one of my favorite places.
So beautiful at this time of year. Thanks for the recipe.
Happy Thanksgiving.
What a great collage!! Such beautiful fall colors.
I LOVE this time of year!
