Not that long ago I decided to stop my BlogHer ads. Not that I minded the ads, but I really wasn’t getting much from them, and instead I was missing out on other opportunities because I couldn’t participate due to their advertising policies.
About a month ago, I picked up a Sponsor for my blog, Uprinting.com.
They sponsor my blog, which helps pay my hosting fees and in addition they offer giveaways every month or so and I can choose whether or not I offer them to you. This is the first one I am participating in and will see how you guys like it.
Since Photography is one of my favorite things, and so many of you are also fabulous photographers I thought this would be a great giveaway to participate in. UPrinting is offering myself and one of you an 18×24″ digitally printed high-gloss or demi-gloss poster. Two of the products offered by Uprinting is Poster Printing and Custom Poster Printing which allows you to print one or many posters at a time.
All you have to do to win one is leave me a comment and describe which photo you would pick to have blown up to poster size. This is the photo I am going to send in:
It speaks to me of summer, one of our favourite places to go and be together as a family.

I would probably choose one of the photos of our last beach vacation which was just about 2 years ago now! We really need to go again!
Or perhaps one of the pictures we took at Lake Louise a few years ago. It was a cloudy day when we were there, but the color of the water was still amazing!

I’ve always wanted to take a photo of a piece of toast, get it blown up really big, and hang it in our kitchen.

My daughter loves posters to put all over the walls of her room. So I would let her pick out a picture.

It would be tough to choose but I think I’d have to go with a photo of my family. I need a bigger house to put up all the photos of my loved ones I want to have up on the walls 🙂
Hmmm. I don’t take much in the way of artistic or beautiful photos — all of mine are of my kids. Ideally I’d make the poster a shot of all three of them, but I can’t remember the last time I managed to capture all three in the same shot! I think I’d have to take a new photo…or else just scam one of yours :).
I am sure I could find a photo of the boys that would look great poster sized. Or maybe wait till the baby is here and get one of all 3 🙂
We’ve lived in this house for 14 months and all we have up on the walls is a clay lizard my then-four-year old painted. So sad. I’s probably get one of our pic from Argentina blown up.
I would pick one of the ones I took in the Bahamas though I took them with my point and shoot 4.0 megapixel…alternatively a flower shot I did recently because it would look lovely in my bathroom

I’ll have to check out that site! I have a ton of stuff I NEED printed but never got around to! I think I’d get one of our wedding photos blown up for our new house. Married 5 years yesterday! We should have at least one photo up of the special day shouldn’t we?? 🙂

I would choose a photo of the two kids. My son was only 2 and half months and is sitting in his sister’s lap in the picture. It is pretty cute.
If your contest is still open and if I won, I would have this picture from BOLO poster-sized.
Then I would give it to the blogger on the far left of the image.
