Time Well Spent?

I woke Apple from her nap (like I do most mornings) to pick up her brother from school.  Drove the block to school, so sad I know, but if I let J come home, there is no going out again.  Anyhow, drove to pick up J from school.  Bribed him with a Rotten Ronnies drive thru.  Drove down the picturesque Colonel By Drive, gazed at the World’s Largest Skating  Rink.  Went through a few side streets to get to Landsdowne Park and the Aberdeen Pavillion just so I could try to get some Lululemon cheap.

So did everyone else in Ottawa.

There was a three hour wait just to get in.  With J and Apple, there was no way I was even going to chance it.  We went to Costco instead.  Bummer.

Weird…I forgot you live in Ottawa. 🙂 I was just talking to someone this morning about the fabulous chocolate croissants I used to get at the bakery in the Byward Market.

3 hour wait, holy cow. I just heard about this sale on the news at lunch (BTW you probably missed it since you were in traffic but LeighAnne on CTV news at noon was channeling stripper chique with over the knee black leather boots, I almost died laughing).

I was in line from 9:30 until 2:00 pm in total! (they don’t tell you about the 1-2 hour wait once you get through the doors!) Ack!

your intentions were good, right? better luck next time? maybe someone to watch the kids at home while you wait in line. maybe that wouldn’t justify the sale price, huh. bummer!

I don’t even bother going to those whouse sales for lulu. I hear the sales aren’t great anyway, certainly not worth your time with the two little ones in tow.
But must admit the lulu pants do wonders for the bum!
